Everything You Wanted to Know About NCLB:
Preparing for Re-authorization
Preparing for Reauthorization
Up for reauthorization this year, the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act has been featured regularly in national and local media, and has been at the center of discussion among key stakeholders in education policy. Recognizing the importance of remaining current on the discussion, Public Education Network has launched two new pages relating to reauthorization: NCLB in the News, and Organizations Speak Out on NCLB.
Visit NCLB in the News to view the most recent national and local news articles on NCLB, or to view our archive of previous news coverage. The articles are identified topically (by such topics as AYP, reauthorization, and achievement gap) and updated every two weeks.
Visit Organizations Speak Out on NCLB to find out which organizations are weighing in on reauthorization and what they have to say. This page features links to the websites of various organizations that have adopted a position on reauthorization, a summary of those positions, and access to the reports and statements they have released.
